Croatia's Dalmatian Coast Walking - Trip Overview

Includes Split, Dubrovnik, Korcula and Hvar Islands

This "Dalmatian Coast Island Hopping" walking adventure begins at one World Heritage city, Split, and ends in another, Dubrovnik. We explore it's nature, tour its historic cities & wineries, walk into the quaint fishing villages & fortified towns and get familiar with this amazing culture.
Then at end of each day sit down to an exquisite meal, raise a glass and toast the wonders of the Dalmatian Coast; the rising star of travel and a trip you will never forget.

Days 1: Emperor's Palace & Island of Brac :
Enjoy Split’s marble streets and wide waterfront promenade. We take an early morning ferry to the Island of Brac to explore the sleepy fishing towns, a wine making village, the Blaca Monastery, olive oil taste and tour the school of stone cutters.

Days 2 & 3: Hvar Island:
We board a ferry to explore the lush lavender-laden Hvar with the lively medieval port town of Hvar as our base; an air of Venice without crowds. Covered in luxuriant color alongside a cobalt sea, Hvar Island is eye candy. You'll see as we walk to the secluded beaches, visit the nearby Pakleni islands (option to kayak), taste its wine and sample its fine cuisine.

Days 4-5 Home of Marco Polo:
Korcula offers prehistoric and Ancient Greek habitations, and now produces the most wine in Croatia. We will enjoy a private guided city tour that informs us on it's claim to be the birthplace of Marco Polo. In the evening you will experience Croatian Peka; a meal to be remembered.

Days 6 & 7 Peljesac Peninsula & Dubrovnik:
In the morning we walk along a stunning isolated coastal wine route that leads to a remote fishing village. Then tour the salt flats of Ston and walk along its protective 14th C medieval wall to Mali Ston where we sample the renowned oysters. In Dubrovnik enjoy a private city tour before our final farewell feast.
